However, that 24 square mile area is home to McLaren Automotive, where they build some of the most amazing supercars on earth. LT stands for "longtail" and was inspired by the epic F1 GTR Longtail race car from the mid-1990s. The 600LT was lengthened by around three inches, with an extended front splitter and rear diffuser, brand new side sills, and a cool fixed rear wing for increased downforce. It's over 200 pounds lighter than the car it replaced and is motivated by a twin-turbo 3.8L all-aluminum V8 engine putting out close to 600 horsepower. This car also has the interior carbon pack, switch pack, and carbon door sills that all add up to an amazing MSRP on an amazing car.

McLaren is known for massively engineered suspension setups and the 600LT is no different. With McLaren's adaptive damping you can choose from normal, sport, and track modes.
